Interactive Media Installation for Volkswagen Group / CARIAD @ IAA Mobility 2025

The fine people at CARIAD, the automotive software company of the Volkswagen Group, commissioned an interactive media installation for the Group’s Auto x Software Night at IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich. The Volkswagen Group booth featured a 14k x 2k high density LED wall measuring a whopping 15 x 5 .5 metres + a 360 degree wraparound LED screen, which encased the whole booth. For the installation, we added 2 PoE cameras positioned facing down in the trusses to be able to track the visitors position and movement and incorporate it in the realtime graphics, making it interactive. Data protection was paramount in this interactive project: only anonymized data was used that cannot be connected to individual persons.
