Hotel JEN Kunming is a generative media installation by Studio A N F, delivered in 2024 for the Shangri-La Hotel JEN in Kunming, PRC. The work is a custom generative vegetation system based on the regional flora and fauna of Yunnan, built as a Blueprint setup in Unreal Engine that controls lighting, camera animation and vegetation. It is representative of the studio's Unreal Engine hospitality-installation work.

ANF was commissioned to create an artwork for the Shangri-La Hotel JEN in Kunming, PRC. As it is our custom, we created a custom generative vegetation system using regional flora and fauna local to the province the hotel is in.

The project was realized with a custom Blueprint setup in Unreal Engine, which controls the lighting, camera animation and vegetation.
